Yes izotope. Its a blend of de clipper in izotope, eq, AND blending in your track 2 material. Its worth a play. Your main audio is pretty awful , but using a few tools in combination its possible to get it back into useable land, and as i suggested, put some music over it and youre there!

I dont think its the mic ,I think its front end analogue distortion on the input to the desk/ mixer/ or recorder / camera. It has a n analogue grungy tone. Basically too much level going into the device, not necessarily too high a recording level.Ive has a play with some restoration software in 10 mins I had free. This distortion is almost gone, but its a little watery. Certainally better. Id add some music that will hide things too.
You should consider using track 2 only. It is not distorted at all, may be the camera mic. A little more distant and hissier as its low level, but can be cleaned up with a bit of eq and is your best shot (INHO)

Is this for picking up sound off a pa, or shooting scenes?
If its a PA, taking a feed from the pa should be easy with a 40db pad if its a line level into a mic input on the camera. Minimum cost for a couple of adapters and a pad and cable.
If its shooting, as a minimum go for a boom pole, directional rifle mic and a cable back to the camera AND HEADPHONES. This will allow closer audio pickup all round. Theres plenty of choices on ebay so it doesnt need to cost much.
Going up theres a small mixer, batteries, cans, radio mics etc but thats a whole extra cost level.

Have you tried making a dual layer disc and seeing what if any menus pop up that are context relevant (ie only appear when dual layer dvd is selected in the drop down box between DVD DL DVD and BLu Ray etc.?Peter

Im afraid I dont know, and find the lack of info / tutorials and AVID support a little frustrating. its like theyve spat out this software but no one really wants to take ownership of it!
