Hi Stephen,
Just to pile what everyone else has already said (also may help others), here’s a nice tutorial on this exact subject.

May 3, 2017 at 6:19 pm in reply to: Problems with Photoshop LUTs and Premiere Pro CC2017.1 v11Hi Jamil,
Thanks for the detailed report. I’m unable to reproduce this issue. A few questions.
Does this happen in all projects or just this particular one?
Does this happen only with .lut files created in Photoshop? Are can you reproduce with the provided luts?
Can you share what your sequence settings are?
Thanks,

Thanks for jumping in Kannan. Glad things have been running smoothly for you. Would be great to hear your experience with AVCi as well.
Jamie sent me sample files which will be helpful to figure out what’s going on.

Greg and Chris are correct. The current implementation of Proxy requires that the Full Res and Proxy have matching audio channels.
We’d like to make this process smoother and easier to handle in the future. If you have any thoughts on how you would like to it get implemented please share here:

Hi Scott,
With Premiere Pro 2015.4 you may find this tip helpful if your project gets bloated and you notice any performance issues. May not be required but just in case check out this video which shows you how to reduce your project size when working with Amira footage.

Hi Jamie,
Thanks for the added info. We made some changes to how we index files after 2014. It would be great if you could send me a copy of the MXF file as it’s growing (File > Copy). We can inspect it and see if there’s anything we can do or if a change would be required from Softron. Either way, we can work with them.
You can use my email pgaraway at adobe dot com

Hi Jamie,
A few questions and a few things you can try. If it does not help I can try to put you in touch with someone that might be able to help.
1. What’s you refresh time set to? I would set it somewhere between 30-60 seconds.
2. Try disabling “Automatic peak file generation”
3. Try disabling the Blackmagic card – Not a solution but I would be curious to hear if it helps.
4. Do you have any spyware or bandwidth limiters enabled?Peter Garaway
