Hi Timo,
What kind of computer and GPU do you have?
A few ideas:
– In you have Sonic Suite installed. Try closing or uninstalling the app
– Updating or rolling back your GPU driver
– Turn off the extended display option
Hope this gets you going if not let us know.

Hi Marko,
Premiere Pro can translate crossfade from FCP but it appears FCP cannot do the same. We had to do work on our end to support many of these effects.
Sorry, this may not be very helpful for you but thought I’d include it. This is a list of the effects and transitions Premiere supports from FCP.

Hi Tim,
Sorry I don’t have much value to add here but thought I’d mentioned I successfully recorded to tape with the Blackmagic Express box a few years back. Seems odd they would say “hiss coming through the box was normal”.
I don’t have the equipment anymore to test or else I’d try it out.
Hopefully, someone will have more insight or maybe call back and fingers crossed you can speak with someone else ☺
Good luck!

Hi Pete,
No, ‘Show Rulers’ was not added to the Premiere Pro program monitor. Would be a nice added touch with the new graphics features.
Encourage you to add a feature request here

Hi Waqas,
To answer your question, it’s fine to nest your clips. I’m not 100% that will solve your problem as I don’tI don’t have any plugins installed at the moment to verify. I believe it’s the 3rd party plugins that are requiring you to reanalyze your clips.
I’ll see about getting some installed. If you run the test yourself let us know how it goes.
Best,
Peter

Hi Shane,
Here are a few things that I’ve seen that can trigger this error:
1. Copying to full drive (nearly full drive)
2. Spanned clips in the project
3. Enabling “Include Preview Files”
4. Copying to a long destination/file path and/or name
5. If the audio has been modified via Modify > Audio ChannelsPeter Garaway

Hi Roger,
You can hold Option + (Up Arrow or Down Arrow) to move clips up and down tracks but as you probably discovered, this overwrites other clips on the track it is being moved to. The best option probably is to do what you’re currently doing. May others will have ideas.
A feature request to nudge clips without overwriting until the edit is committed would be cool.

May 8, 2017 at 10:02 pm in reply to: Panasonic GH5 Footage 4K 10Bit error in Premier ProHi Tim,
Chris is correct. The GH5 10bit format is not supported in the current release of Premiere (2017.1). Sorry, crashing shouldn’t happen though.
Hopefully, we’ll get support in soon.
Best,

Hi Kyle,
You need to record your audio in PCM in order to maintain sync in Premiere Pro. Filmic pro made this change in version 5.5. AIFF will not maintain sync.
Good luck!
