The setting is in the gallery but it applys to all copy functions inc centre mouse click. The metadata undo is not currently in our color correction metadata as its performed prior to the node graph. It’s on my to do list.

Hi Jake, try copy grade and preserve source settings.. its a right click on the gallery in the color page. No change in the other items you mention.

Not sure this will work but may be a quick fix; start a new project with 23.98 conform and timeline frame rate. make sure mixed frame rate option is off. put just that clip in. Render a replacement clip. See if that now has the correct frame rate in the header and timecode.

It’s a good idea Jake and we will look into it for the future. Not sure if or when at this time.

  • Resolve v9 permits conforming with reel name from the path, the Media Pool folder name, embedded in the source file and the actual source file name. Please refer to the Master Project Settings/Conform Options.

Hi Tina, could you confirm what your hardware config is, the list you have above does not make sense? Normally you would have a GT120 or Q4000 for UI and a GTX680 for image processing, not all three.

Also, re the XML and trim workflow. The XML should reflect the edit and the clips used in the edit. If you modify the clips after the XML is made, i.e. trim them, then the XML is not valid any more.

Have another try with trim on 9.0.3. It may well be more stable than last time you tried it.

Akim, please help yourself by providing information that others can use to help you. Please detail your hardware config. Is it exactly as per the config guide? What version of what OS are you using? What GPUs, what cuda and NVIDIA drivers? Do you have a Decklink card, have you loaded the driver? This information will help others provide advise.

  • Go to the menu bar and select View, then window outline and then select UI only.

Hi Peter, for clarification. You have a plasma monitor connected to your Resolve DeckLink video output. Thats the reference. When you render clips and play them back on Resolve, they should look the same on the same plasma. Correct? What is the application you are using to play the clips when they don’t match your original grade?
For most situations, leave the source and render levels setting in Auto and the monitor in video.
