From your description it sounds like the wav file has the wrong sample rate, should be 48KHz, or bit depth.

Export project, import project and manually move all the images.

Resolve 9 is 64 bit only and you should use at least 12GB ram if you can.

Hi Mike, have you read our config guide? Links on the BMD forum or our support web site.
It lists a low cost windows config.
Consider the GTX580 as a single shared GPU is your motherboard is appropriate.

Yes Resovle can also render cache. There is extensive coverage in the user guide.
