All I saw in the DVD root menu was the individual chapters and nothing else. Did I misunderstand what you told me?

Digital Hotcakes makes all sorts things like this for all kinds of events, not just weddings. I get very nice results.

I’d appreciate the file for the BRC. Send it to kbhr57am@aol.com
    Thanks!

  • I just did this type of thing for a project. I used a high quality atlas and lit it so there were no shadows. I then shot the U.S and slowly zoomed in, then I cross faded to Montana while continuing the slow zoom. I finally cross faded to the city I was using still using a slow zoom and then cross faded to the video project. It looked really nice.

I rendered it because I never tried doing something like this before. I guess you never pick the easiest way the first time. At any rate, I tried your suggestion and I control dragged, but I guess I’m not doing it properly. Can you elaborate please. Thanks!

OK. So I guess the way I accomplished it, is the only way to do it in Vegas Pro 9, without additional software. Is that correct?

I had the same problem as you and would’ve paid for airfare, meals ,lodging, etc. Instead of that, I printed out the entire instruction manual. All 400+ pages. I got a bunch of highlighter pens and went to work.
I imported videos into the timeline and tried all the things I was reading about. You will be amazed at how fast you will start getting comfortable with the software. I keep the “book” next to me when I work on a project, and refer to it all the time. I’m no expert, but the people at Sony Vegas forum are really helpful. Now, hit the books, Laura!

  • I have my preview window set to auto, so the quality of the playback automatically adjusts to whatever quality it takes to play the video smoothly. It rarely defaults to anything better than “good-half”, but the feature usually keeps the video and audio in sync, even with multiple video and audio tracks. Transitions are another story. I can’t get smooth ones til after the project is rendered. Hope this helps.
