Yes it is exportable as any effect you add to the clip. And you can scale and position it freely so it is for example great way to make quick offline multilayer compositions.

Can you mount QT-movies to dpx files in Mac? In PC only avis seems to be mountable. I didn’t find anything about Framelink in Blackmagic new manual (jan 2006).

You should install Video Collection first then Blacmagic Decklink drivers.

I have Supermicro P4SCT+II with DeckLink Pro and it has been up and running more than a year and half now without any big issues. Bios is v6.00PG.
I have Broadcom SATA card, so I don’t use internal SATA for my video.
And my system disk is IDE disk.

In windows ou can capture various HD Quicktimes but not compressed PhotoJPG. If you have Blackmagic card, look at Easy setups at DeckContol, there are 18 different HDTV setups, all are quicktime. At the moment DeckControl captures only Quicktimes. But Quicktime to dpx, no, I miss it too.

Activate your AVI > right click > Interpret Footage > Conform to widescreen.
