It should be Final Cut Pro X . It’s here to stay. I’m done with debating.
And i like Premiere too! Which can be found in the PREMIERE PRO forum. -
Ive tested a AJA I/o HD with firewire 800 with a thunderbolt adapter. Works great. As long its a powered device it should work.
Or you could buy an old Macbook for old video hardware.
Or capture s-video or component through a thunderbolt blackmagic or aja i/o

Doesnt work. You need ultrastudio express or 3D.

The new iMacs with Nvidia kepler graphics will scream CUDA with Premiere and Davinci and also will scream Open CL with FCPX.
Best choice. No doubt.

Windows and hardware component driver issues have not much to do with the fact that Matrox is slow when updating their drivers.
Matrox has a lot of driver issues on the Mac. Blackmagic and AJA almost never have.
In any case. No matter what platform you work with. If you work with 3th party software or hardware you should always check your stuff before updating anything.
And yes, Windows needs a lot of management. Time and money you win on OSX if you ask me.

If you want you can install it on 10+ systems. FCPX doesn’t care at all about it. And i’m sure Apple doesn’t care at all.

Resolve doesnt install the Blackmagic video driver.
Shouldnt be a problem i guess.
