Well Im actually getting RT when its doing the conversion….Im not getting the 18% lag behind camera thing Ive been reading about…havnt really checked the stats on the systems that those people are talking about but it works great with my system.
What I am curious about is your saying that the QUALITY in the conversion is better?

Ok one last question…is there any way to set in out points with this workflow, it seems as though you have to babysit the tape as its digitizing…Ill do it if I have to but its 35 hours of footage that I would love to be able to just set up tapes and walk away….any way to do this or no? thks again…

OMG….say it aint so…I never thought Id see you selling off your CRT’s….lol….I actually dont need any more CRT’s but thks for the offer….Ill ask around if I know anyone that is looking for one.

Yep, tried all that, no good…either says preview is disabled, when its not or its just greyed out….I can hear the audio….just no video….I trashed pref as well…Im stumped. Bug?

UPDATE:
Turns out the LED’s wont light up unless they are seeing a signal according to Steve at AJA tech support. Steve is going to send me out two new converters and power supplies and we are going to go from there, this is after they have already sent me a new Kona 3 card all of which I am to hold onto until we figure out the issue. These converters are quite a few years old and yet this company is still sending out new ones on their dime for me to test to see if we can narrow down the problem!
I wish all companies treated customers with this kind of personal attention…just wanted to come on here and give props where props are due. So thank you Steve and all at AJA for your great products and your unsurpassed customer support, hands down.

I just pulled both converters out of the rack today and plugged them into another outlet, there are LED lights on the converters but they both will not light up! So now Im totally stumped on how two AJA converters can go out at the same exact time??? Totally confused…

Ill have to check again, but I sure looked all over both converters for the light, because I thought they had them as well, but I couldnt find one one either the D10ce or the D10AD.
