I don’t know if it works the same on a MAC, but, before you render, do ALT+1 to make sure you have the full resolution and, for the audio, I found this in the PI HELP files: At the bottom of the Output Options dialog is a checkbox called Use audio from layer: followed by a drop menu. These items are only enabled when 1) saving an AVI, and 2) the project contains a background image AVI that contains audio. When this option is checked, the output AVI will use the audio from the bg image AVI — very useful when adding particleIllusion effects to a “finished” AVI that contains audio already. (Note that the audio will be transferred from the bg image AVI to the output AVI in a “direct stream copy” — the audio will not be converted or recompressed.)
