Pixel size
I have looked in the FAQs and haven’t found the answer I need. Let’s say I make a circle emitter and then save it as an AVI file. When I import it into Premiere, it is no longer a circle but rather an oval. Is there a way to correct this?

Could be that the pixel aspect ratio of your Premiere project is set to 0.9 by default, and pI’s stuff is square pixel. Don’t have Premiere here to check that, but that’d be my guess.

It depends on your output. If you’re going out to videotape/DVD, you’ll want to keep it 0.9 since that will look oval as you work in Premiere, but should play right on a TV. If you’re going out to the web, then a 1.0 pixel aspect ratio is a better bet.

Nope, it’s only square pixel at this point.

One thing you might try is output to 640×480 from PI then “stretch” it to 720×480 to fit the full frame. This will distort your circle into an oval, but when viewed on TV it looks like a circle.
