Hi Eric,
Thanks for the answer. Do you think that I will be able to daisy chain the monitor to the Pegasus RAID Drive? The Belkin dock has only one Thunderbolt out port and if I cannot daisy chain the two things together I need something with two Thunderbolt out ports.

Too bad. Do you happen to know of a drive that you can configure for RAID 1 that has both USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt, and is good for video editing?

Hi Nina,
I saw that you are from Switzerland and where I work now in Switzerland would like to purchase a camcorder. Would you have any suggestions where to do this in Zürich? Are there mail order houses like B&H in the United States here? Or, what camera store would you recommend in Zürich?

I also shoot mostly documentary style work and have to hand hold the camera for several hours at a time. That’s why I’ve been thinking of a shoulder mount. A monopod though might be the way to go. There would be a lot less back strain and they still keep cameras very steady.

If GPU is not affected, I wonder why there is such a difference with video cards? Do you think it could affect future upgrades?
