June 11, 2012 at 4:06 am in reply to: Looping the audio in DVD Architect 4.0

    Hi there,

Using DVD Architect 4.5 ( with Sony Movie Studio 9 ),
I had the same problem with the menu’s disappearing when I set the
Loop Point setting. Even if I set LOOP in the End Action.

Fix was to remove the Loop Point and Keep the End Action = Loop
to preserve the Menu’s showing !

    Only 4 years have passed.

    Cheers….

  • Hi again,

Is this the right Forum for DVD Architect questions ?
    If not which one ?

I searched the Forums and didn’t see anything on this topic where the DVD name and Titles don’t show in a player like Windows Media Player.

Since, I haven’t find anything on this topic online, then I have a sneaky suspicion that I’ve missed something in using DVDA.

So, I’m hoping for some help because I want to make a bunch of DVDs but need to make sure the titles showup in a Player.

    Thanks again, LA Guy

    Gentleman,

    Nice thread.

As a programmer, I would like to be able to have the TEXT / Translations in a separate text file / xml file and have Sony Vegas Text Media element reference the text here.

This way you could change the Text file ( Eng, Span, etc ) with each language you want to use.

Re the Windows Media Player in the HTML, will that work on the MAC and other browsers ?

The WMP will be a downloadable plugin to be installed ?

    Thanks, Newbie Paul

    Hi,

    11pm in LA, CA.

Yikes, right now I’m creating a .WMV file in Sony Vegas MS 9 and it’s estimated for 5 hrs ( est 60 – 80 minutes of footage ).

I didn’t check whether I can create the DVD inside Movie Studio and skip the DVD Architect for quickie DVDs.

I guess I have to check it in the morning.

I was using Windows DVD Maker and just adding Pics and .AVI files to create DVD’s directly ( so that’s why I was thinking I could do the same with .MTS files with DVD Arch ).

    Thanks, LA Guy

    Hi John,

Thanks for the suggestion but I don’t think it worked or I didn’t do it right ( not familiar with Avidemux ).

Can you check my blog link to see the screen shots ?

    Hi Mike,

I used the File Upload ICON on the far right and saved the LINK HTML.

The 5 second .AVI file is uploaded here ( looks like the put it in a zip file ).

    506_rcasmallwonderez201sample.avi.zip

Hoping you can figure out why it doesn’t import the audio into Movie Studio 9.

Thanks again, LA Guy ( Paul )

    Hi Mike,

Looked around on COW but finally …

Yes, carefully looking at the list of ICONs on this Post shows an ICOM with a video camera for uploading !

    =====Unsuccessful Upload =======
So, I’ve uploaded/attached a 5 sec AVI video taken on my RCA Small Wonder EZ201 with some sound that doesn’t import into Movie Studio 9.

BUT Simple AVI DOESN’T DISPLAY on COW !

I wonder if you can download the AVI file ?

    Hi Mike,

Well I don’t have a place to save a .AVI file.

paulchu.wordpress.com (free website ) won’t allow an .AVI upload.

So, I need a place to save it.
Youtube will convert the file if I try to upload it.

    I’ll work on this.

    Thanks, Paul

    Good Evening Mike,

Thanks for the ffdshow suggestion but on my blog, Video Inspector shows I already have them installed.

    https://paulchu.wordpress.com/2010/01/25/video-sony-vegas-movie-studio-platinum-9-does-not-like-my-avi-files-finding-codecs-progress-update/

So, is it fruitless to look for the Audio Codec ?
I wonder if the .AVI problem is just with a few of the older video cameras ?

Yes, I don’t have the original CD or the manual anymore but from the RCA website

The RCA EZ201 manual is here ( but no mention of CODECS )
    https://audiovox2.info/docs/rca_sw/man/EZ201_DOC_OM.PDF

This is the RCA webpage for the EZ201 ( no specs )

    https://www.mysmallwonder.com/mswonder/SmallWonderProductDetail.do?ACTION_TYPE_ID=ACTION_TYPE_PRODUCT_DETAIL&ACTION_CATEGORY_ID=STR_CATEGORY_MSWONDER&ACTION_PRODUCT_ID=EZ201&PRODUCT_NAV=

    Thanks again, Paul
