  • DVD Architect 4.5 – Generated DVD doesn’t show DVD Name and Titles in Windows Media Player

    Hi everyone 🙂

    I’m using DVDA 4.5 ( yeah i know it’s old … )
I created a Menu Project and added 6 .MOV videos to it ( straight from my Panasonic Lumix Camera ) then named each Title to match the songs etc. The DVD plays just fine but the Titles etc are missing in the physical DVD ?

For example, in Windows Media Player WMP
the burned DVD shows “unknown DVD” , Title 1, Chapter 1, Title 2, Chapter 1; Title 3, chapter 1 and Title 4, chapter 1 etc

Shouldn’t the Titles I made in the Menu show as the titles in the DVD ?
Saw some post about Music Compilation project, does that generated the Title Names correctly ? any examples.

    Thanks, LA Guy

    Hi again,

Is this the right Forum for DVD Architect questions ?
    If not which one ?

I searched the Forums and didn’t see anything on this topic where the DVD name and Titles don’t show in a player like Windows Media Player.

Since, I haven’t find anything on this topic online, then I have a sneaky suspicion that I’ve missed something in using DVDA.

So, I’m hoping for some help because I want to make a bunch of DVDs but need to make sure the titles showup in a Player.

    Thanks again, LA Guy

Hi Agris… I wish someone had responded as well, I’m trying to solve the same problem.

Have you had any luck getting past this issue?

‘m trying to solve the same problem.

    Try the following:

    >File >Properties (Alt-Enter)
    Select the Summary tab
Fill in the title here. Don’t know if this works yet but I’ll give it a try next weekend.

Unfortunately haven’t looked for solution for a long time. At the moment not working with DVD’s.

    This worked for me.

You need to specify the Properties. You can do this when you create the project (>File >Properties >Summary tab). Enter the name and this will be used when you create a DVD.

You can also do this when you navigate through the create DVD process. When you are ready to prepare the DVD (or maybe when you are burning the DVD) you can also change the properties.

    Happy burning.
