This is just another explanation of what Hans said…

1) Copy all the keyframes into the second comp.
2) Select ALL the keyframes by clicking the name of the property. For example, click the word “Position”
3) Be sure you are positioned over ONE of the keyframes.
3) Nudge the layer into position using the keyboard (arrows and Shift-arrows)

This should change all the keyframes at once… keeping the speed of movement.

And just for the fun of it, you can use expressions. I don’t think you have time for that one.

Duplicate the text layer. Then duplicate the MASK inside this new layer. Set Mask2 to SUBTRACT and move the mask physically a few pixels to the left. Be sure to change each keyframe.

This should give you a thin line of the text as it is being revealed (Turn off the other text layer to see the line).

Apply a glow or edge rays and you’re done. Should look something like this…

Answered my own question…

You must CREATE a new sequence with a 5.1 MASTER track.

If you add a 5.1 submix to an existing sequence, you can’t hear 5.1… unless someone knows the trick.

Really, the band was behind the green screen?

Try using some sort of edge detection (Sapphire and Tinderbox makes one) on the alpha of the foreground footage, blur this edge and use it as a track matte for a glowed/blurred copy of the background.

You can create a poor man’s edge detector by filling a matte choked copy of the foreground alpha matte with black. Gees, I hope that makes sense to someone else.
