Just a guess … Options/Preferences/Video .. turn off GPU acceleration ..

Use Options/Preferences/Video .. then “Thumbnails to show in video events” .. Choose ALL. I don’t know if it gives you 15 thumbnails but it gives you more.
THe Monitor problem is another can of worms. Could be your video card driver. Need your specs.

>> OPTIONS>PREFERENCES, the checkbox should be checked to “apply event effect to all events”
Can’t find this preference setting. Saving a FX plug-in is not working for pan/crop animation for me. I’m doing something wrong? .. OR ?

Grazie has a good approach. But paste event attributes will paste in ALL the attributes not just the pan/crop. So if you have something else going like color curves or some other FX it will be applied too.
If you do a lot of this, you can create a veg file that contains all your pan/crop animations. This can be opened as a second instances of Vegas when you are working and then you can copy the attributes and apply them between instances of Vegas. At least you can do this in Vegas Pro 14.

Yes. Find the same “sync” point on each track (some sharp, clear sound) and then align the tracks so that they play in perfect sync — no echo or reverb.
-
Select the track with flat waveform .. try SHIFT+UP to enlarge the waveform – — or SHIFT+DOWN to reduce it. This does not effect volume. Not sure this is the problem, but worth a try.

Sergei revealed in a previous post this he is using the basic version of Movie Studio 13.
>> .. what’s the easiest way to SYNCH up the 2 tracks?
Here’s what I think.
Find a clear sync point on the first track — a loud noise or sharp noise (like a door slamming – a downbeat of a song starting – a dog barking) — The waveform of the audio will generally show where the sound starts clear .. This is why they used “Clap slates” in movie productions (still do actually). The CLAP gives you something to sync on matching sound and picture.
Now find the same point in the second audio track. Align the two audio tracks and their video one on top of the other at this exact point. You can do this with the use of markers or by spliting the even at that point. This should get you close. Then adjust frame by frame until the tracks sync to your liking.
But this is somewhat advanced work. It will teach you a lot if you have the patience to learn the concepts involved. Learning which keys to press by rote is not going to get you far. You need to understand things to progress.
Once both tracks are aligned and in sync, you could delete one of the audio tracks — but I generally just mute the track in case at some point that track proves useful. Editing from there is not easy either — It’s very easy to throw this type of edit out of sync along the way. There are numerous methods to keep things synced up — but again, doing an edit this way will teach you a lot. It should be worth the effort.

Can you give us a screen grab of what you are describing? You seem to be saying that the “compositing” button is missing on your top video track, the one with the solid black generated media. That’s seems very odd.

>>I cant View My Editing clearly
Does this mean the PReview Window is blurry or fuzzy or dark or split? Or does it mean a clear image but not a full frame rate playback causing picture to lag or stutter?

Nop. Not seeing this on my system. But I think I’ve seen others with the problem — just can’t remember the solution.
Is this something new? Were things working ok before?
Could be the drivers for your video card ..
