Alex … you need to run “media info” and post the results for the max amount of help here.
It’s a shareware program. So no charge unless you want to donate.

Just make sure “render to loop region only” is unchecked and it should render to the end of the timeline.
So make sure you don’t have anything hanging out after the end you intend. CTRL+END will show you where the end actually is — that could even be something like a Marker. A blank timeline is not necessarily the END. Use CTRL+END to see where your timeline ends.

It’s possible something is out there that needs to be deleted. Do CTRL + END to find it. Zoom the timeline to see it.

I thought 59.94 was NTSC. Isn’t PAL 50fps?
Grazie has a good point too about the bit rate.

Compare the products here:

If your moving from a Free editor, and you don’t need to make DVD’s, then I’d say the basic Movie Studio will get you going and teach you the basics of Vegas. Lots to learn. You could upgrade from there. IF money is not that important, then there are some useful features I notice in Platinum like stabilization, media explorer window ..
Maybe there are others here that are more familiar with why Platinum is worth the extra bucks!

February 22, 2017 at 4:53 pm in reply to: Is it possible to change mouse wheel speed for zooming? My scroll wheel also does not respond to any settings changes when using Vegas .. My mouse zooms all the way in about 4 spins of the scroll wheel .. but .. there are other methods.
CTRL + UP/DOWN arrow will get you there and back quickly.
• Click the Zoom In Time button to increase the horizontal zoom level to show more event detail.
• Click the Zoom Out Time button to decrease the horizontal zoom level to show more of the timeline.
• Click and drag the area between the buttons to zoom in or out on the timeline. You can also use the Up/Down Arrow keys to zoom:
• Press the Up/Down Arrow keys to zoom in horizontally in small increments.
• Press Ctrl+Up/Down Arrow to zoom in large increments. If a time selection exists, Ctrl+Up/Down Arrow will zoom to the selection. -
I vote for Vegas Pro 14. It’s the best and most stable version yet for my money. The biggest difference with VP13 is that there may still be some third party plugins that work better with VP13. Is this for work or personal use? If for personal use you might want to start with a version of Vegas Movie Studio.

It’s 545. I’m not going to use it myself as I’m in the middle of a fair size VP13 project with all running just fine.
Magix seems organized now on all the old Sony Products. Nearly all of mine showed up here:
