I have not used Soundtrack Pro in a million years.

I remmed her there were somethings that no other DAW could do,

    yet really can’t remember.

Most DAWS do so many things. Even GarageBand has great capabilities.

Too bad they got rid of “Magic GarageBand” which could provide music.

  • Very interesting DropBox behavior.

Please send all this to the DropBox techs so they can know this issue exists.

One thing I find VERY helpful is I like to make a carbon copy clone of my

working system before I upgrade a whole macOS.

I wonder if the time codes are all the same for some reason?

    I mean start timecode.

  • A few months ago I had a video file from my JVC camcorder not complete the file as the power failed while recording.

Repairit fixes that issue – no problem! I first used the demo and it showed it could do it –

so we paid the fee and the file works fine now!

  • I wonder how often you do your “monthly maintenance”

and if that has anything to do with it.

This one clients claimed that “the family of …” Israel Kamakawiwo’ole liked their

school, so they would give them to use “What a wonderful world” …

luckily > was just the “editor”.

The first idea I have is to take out that non-working hard drive and replace it with a modern hard drive. Do you already know the specs of that hard drive?

    Is that hard drive SATA6?

June 13, 2023 at 8:00 pm in reply to: Good prosumer camera suggestions

These days most users will use their cameraphones for video. And a cage of some sort.

And a gamble designed for smartphones.

Sometimes one can get an App that is specifically a video app that has more or better features than the built in photo app.

Others get the Zoom Q8n – which shoots in 4k and has a better that junk pair of microphones.

    around $400.

So it really depends on which price-zone you are considering.

Oh, and Sony makes some “vlogging” cameras that are under $1k.

I believe back in those days there were “display controllers” that handled those

    display walls.

and I really wonder if the source was recorded in that wide screen ratio.
