I like to use OmniDiskSweeper to tell me all about the contents of the hard drive
so I can evaluate my usage and know what folders are large.

Start thinking about a day rate:

How many full days of work will this project take?

How much do you need per day for your lifestyle?

Make sure the scope of work is clear for the entire project.

Since you are just starting – go for it! Make up a number and do the project
and then evaluate afterwards.

Aha!

The trick was that the title card keeps the first time that it got attached to,
so, when I deleted the old title card and added the new title card – Correct Date/Time appeared!

A smart upgrade would be a Thunderbolt eternal drive.
RAID would be better.

Also, a spare HD or 2 for backups during the final stretch.

ie. Does FCP X 10.3 run on Mountain Lion?

How do I turn off the Rendering if I am not really using it?

Do I make my timeline sequence / project rendering away from ProRES 422(LT) that I have by default?

The F8 is on my list …. and it becomes a 8 mic channel computer interface to boot!

Which I need because my old interfaces do not work with either MBA or iMac.

And the MOTU I need to upgrade the ROM firmware for a charge.
