Depending on the tapeless format you may well have a column heading related to the source files creation date. Use that instead of the clips creation date.

Numbered folders can be the same across different drives just not in the same MXF folder. However keeping them different makes combining the contents of drives easier.
So you could have all the folders in drive 1 start at 1000 (so 1001, 1002,1003) and use 2001,2002,2003 for drive 2 etc.Pat Horridge

How many files in the folder? More than 5000? Try splitting the contents over more folders.

We do it as:
SAS export done and sent to AQC (AQC tests optimised to only check specific tests)Client watches final timeline.
QC engineer watches timeline armed with AQC result.
Final QC list presented to client for fixes / QC comments.
AS-11 ezport done. AQC of AS-11 done and metadata checks done.
final file runtime QC checked.

Are you able to monitor your playback on a decent size/quality output monitor? You have to be able to do that if you plan to commit to frame rate conversions in the edit.

A number of options.
One is to AMA link each source into a project setup for that frame rate. Transcode to whatever resolution you are using. (Depending on what edit route you plan, offline online or direct online)
Then in your delivery project (the one at the framerate you plan to deliver in) copy the other projects bins in. Then the clips will have motion adapters you can adjust.
However for the best result I’d work at the framerate you have the majority footage in. Output at that and then use an alchemist to framerate convert as required.Pat Horridge

When you manually select the plugin you choose either qt folder or qt files. You then have to re navigate to either the root folder or a selection of files. Then ok.

Can you play the QT file? Does it confirm the properties you expected?
Blackmagic don’t make any plugins they force you through Resolve.
Prores should work via the native QT AMA plugin that comes with MC.If you have MCs console open you when you attempt the link you may see more info.
