hi Stephen. I have now found colour sets in menu page properties. I have changed everything to rectangle and put a light blue in colour set one/fill colour.

Thank you very much for pointing me in the right direction.

    I am very pleased

Hi Stephen. I am more of a novice than you think.

I didn’t know what “colour sets” were or where I find them in sony Architect.

    Can you help further?

    Thank you

April 25, 2011 at 5:28 pm in reply to: very loud click at end of audio

Here are the two files without the “work around” below.
At the moment I am using a “work around” by putting a blank text file at the end for 30 seconds so it is likely the listener will have switched off. Eventhough there is no audio underneath there is still the loud click at the end. It is like if you unplugged an electric guitar without switching the amplifier off first.
    Thank you

Using sony vegas Pro nesting I have put everything into another file. No clicks at the end of any songs only at the very end.

I played it on the Church system this morning (i.e. no TV) and the click was tremendous.

It doesnt seem to be related to the recording(as I have tried speech with no fx and still there) but when the file goes from audio to silence there is this very loud click. I can’t hear it in sony vegas itself.

It only starts to show up after rendering and I play back through Windows media or TV or as above the Church system. I have tried ac3 – a variety of dialog normalization from -31 ot -23; wave and sony64 all have the click. The loudest click is after sony64 but this has the sweetest sound so is the rendering I would like to use.
I have Windows xp pro and 4 gig of RAM.

    Any more help?

    Thank you

Steve – Only IDR stereo is showing up in Sony Vegas Pro 8 and Sound forge 9,when I understood there were 10 plug ins.

Thank you for pointing me to preferences and VST at least I found something which I hadnt before!!

I spent all day on it yesterday so all further help gratefully received.

Do you also know a Waves forum I can go on to get more Waves help once I get going?
