I now have taiyo yuden studio gold mastering
However they still won’t go below 16x!

I have tried them in two different DVD/CD rewriters.

I have tried them two different ways in CD Architect 5.2.(version 5.2b)

1 I just pop the disk in and select burn and choose rewriter and speed is 16x onwards

2. I don’t put a disk in and select burn then speed and click on 1x but as soon as I put the disk in it goes back to 16x onwards.

(inicidentally I have had no trouble burning DVD’s at 1x using DVD Architect Pro 5)

John Thank you very much. CD-R Gold looks the best. Initially I only need a couple! They are to send to the duplicators. But obviously would buy a small pack. I’ve searched the web and have difficulty in finding a small pack. Any suggestions where it is good to buy them?

Hi Steve Thank you for your reply. Does anyone know of any cd’s which will burn at a low speed. The one I’ve got is a Maxwell which burns at 16X. I want to use it as my master and therefore to be the very best quality.

Hi Tyson I havent experience with these products but quite a few of their other products eg juice drops/editors toolkits and their video and audio items. I have found they all work well in SOny vegas Pro With the Juice drops I edit in photoshop elements to get what I want

John It sounds on render.

I have removed the Waves demo plug in but it still sounds. I have removed all the plug ins but it still sounds!

I have found if I do it the long way in Sony Vegas ie sound envelope and four points around each click and lower between I get rid each click.

However I was hoping there was a quicker way.

Mike I have managed two ways of doing it.

The first way worked with the first project but not with the second project but the second way worked with the second project.

1. I removed the video entirely then I closed the programme. After I opened it again and it said did I want to find a replacement (as well as other options) I clicked on this and found the new file. Everything was in its proper place with pictures etc.

2. I went into track media and instead of remove I clicked on replace. This again worked fine.

This particular video had a significant change at the beginning so it was easy to see it had replaced with the new one.

Mike Is there anyway of doing this without deleting the whole of scene selection (and all the buttons) and starting again? ie getting the buttons the right size and the right position on the page, Getting the scene selection page the right colour etc.

I am puzzled when I press on these offline buttons the right scene comes up.

I am sure Sony wouldnt intend us to do all this extra work everytime we replaced an updated video.
