In Sony Vegas 8 I have an audio click from time to time.

I have used click and noise removers in Sound Forge 9.

The occasional clicks are still heard in Sony Vegas 8 but not visible in the Trimmer. They are neither heard nor visible in Sound Forge.

I have even run a demo version of Waves Restoration and I still get these occasional clicks.

Other than removing them individually with putting points either side and lowering the volume envelope is there anything else I can do?

I would have 4 hours of video/audio to go through!! As you can tell I am just at the end of this project.
    Thank you

[Pat Bailey] “The occasional clicks are still heard in Sony Vegas 8 but not visible in the Trimmer. They are neither heard nor visible in Sound Forge.”

Are you sure they exist? or could they be coming from your sound card because of a buffer overflow? If it’s a real click, it should be identifiable in both Vegas and Sound Forge.

iZotope RX2 has a click and crackle remover but you should make sure that it’s a real click in the wave file. I assume Waves Restoration has something similar.

It’s also important to note that demo software will create clicks, beeps, and dropouts to let you know it’s in demo mode (and so that you can’t use the audio) so make sure you don’t have any demo plug-ins applied.

    John It sounds on render.

I have removed the Waves demo plug in but it still sounds. I have removed all the plug ins but it still sounds!

I have found if I do it the long way in Sony Vegas ie sound envelope and four points around each click and lower between I get rid each click.

However I was hoping there was a quicker way.

    Thank you for your help
