sony vegas and waves ren maxx
Waves has installed on my cubase sx3.
I am trying to also install the plug in to sony vegas pro 8 and soundforge 9.
How do I do that?
Generally I find sony vegas and soundforge easier to use than cubase.
I am quite a novice trying to improve my audio.
All help appreciated.

If you installed the VST version of the Waves Audio plugins,
Vegas and Soundforge will pick them up nicely.
Just go into VST Effects in Preferences to load them, so
they will be recognized in both hosts (Vegas & Soundforge).Steve Rhoden

Steve – Only IDR stereo is showing up in Sony Vegas Pro 8 and Sound forge 9,when I understood there were 10 plug ins.
Thank you for pointing me to preferences and VST at least I found something which I hadnt before!!
I spent all day on it yesterday so all further help gratefully received.
Do you also know a Waves forum I can go on to get more Waves help once I get going?
