Hi,
I was able to use 2 Intensity Shuttle on the same PC using 2 of the 4 USB 3.0 ports of an Asus P9X79 (Asmedia chipset), both worked without problems, and without any special configuration.

Hello Denisse,
the BMD Hyperdeck Shuttle 2 has a slot for a common SATA SSD (no SSD is bundled with it); so the more SSDs you have, the more video you can store, without limits. On the HDR-55 web page I read that it can record up to 100Mbps; can you record uncompressed too? Does it use SSD or HDD? What is the size of its bundled drive? Spec Sheet isn’t available on the Datavideo website…

Hi Denisse,
there are no special settings for the Green Screen (I’d use a neutral Custom Picture preset), but the best thing to do is to use an external 4:2:2 SDI recorder (like BMD Hyperdeck Shuttle 2 that can record uncompressed or compressed video 4:2:2 @220Mbps ).
The XH-G1 outputs from SDI clean and uncompressed video 1920×1080 with 4:2:2 sampling while it records on tape @ 1440×1080, 4:2:0 at 25Mbps.Best Regards,

Hi Felix,
I’m using the Decklink Studio 2 on the Asus P9X79 (X79 very similar to yours P9X79 PRO, the main difference is a PCI vs. a PCI-E slot) since 10 months without any problems.
For multi-cam purposes we use more than one Decklink Studio 2 on the same X79If you can’t find the PC and you’d like to make a vacation, you can came here to test your card (Napoli):-)

Hi Felix,
are you sure that your card is not faulty? Are you sure that your Decklink Studio is the 1 and not the 2?If I’m not wrong the DS1 was very similar to the DS2 but it didn’t featured HDMI and SDI (hardware) downconverter.

Hi Dermot,
it would be nice, but the Hyperdeck Shuttle doesn’t have Wi-Fi. If we could remote it through a wireless app (like the one for the Gopro)…
but I think we have to wait for the Hyperdeck Shuttle 3!Gunter, current models are getting slow but important developments. The new software added the ExFat file system support and last year the DNxHD. It is not all we may need, but enought to use them!

Hello George,
I think that more an external card or drive you’d need a fast docking station; here is an example (I use the E-sata/USB 2.0 version made by the same manufacturer).Best Regards,

September 24, 2012 at 8:56 pm in reply to: Does Datavideo DN-60 really only work with Sandisk Cards (whitch I am not impressed with)Hello Ben,
I’m happy that you shared your successful experience with other manufacturers.
I don’t work for Sandisk 🙂 , I just read the manuals of the equipments I use; you can check by yourself https://www.datavideo.info/specs/CF_Card_Compatibility.pdf on page 23
“Qualified DN-60 CF Cards and Record Times”
Not all CF cards on general sale are optimised for video applications. Certain cards may look to be compatible but may provide un-reliable results when reading or writing DN-60 video data.
Datavideo have tested and recommend using only CF media that has been qualified for use with this product. In the list you will find Sandisk only, and inside the DN-60 I found a flier that suggested to use “SANDISK ONLY”.
I checked this suggestion on myself, since a perfect Lexar CF card didn’t worked…Best Regards,
