Thanks a lot Joe. I guess I will have to modify the appearance after to match the look I need but yes, it looks like a good start.

    Thanks a again.

Mmm I’ve been checking the audio meters but even when they use a bar solution that could be useful, they are not cycling either, as I intend (not just jumping from a fixed bottom but looping while running across… this is, like starting at the right, leaving the composition at the left border and restarting at the right).

    Any other suggestions?

Thanks a lot, Dave. I will search with the keywords you suggest, “digital audio level meter”. Although, apart from the square units of an old digital meter, I´m also looking for the specific DNA look. You know, less defined, sometimes blurred to the point that in some segments becomes more a semi transparent trace than an unit, etc.

I actually had found one of this before but it was a fake one, I mean it didn´t synchronize with any music. It was more a graphic.

Thanks again. I really appreciate the help 🙂

    Thanks a lot Angelo,

Obviously I have to get hands on duty and doing some tests with both lenses, the one I will be using in the pre shooting and the final to be used in the actual shooting.

I appreciate a lot your explanation that now I will re read again and again until I fully understand it 🙂

I love the technical part of filmming but I have to admit that my photography most of the times depend on my visual intuition more than in the necessary experience. I´m a visual artist by education (painting) and a self-taught filmmaker. So, time to study!

    Thanks again.

ummm a couple of new questions… sorry:

When I declare the Sequence settings the “default compression” seems to be DVCPRO 1080p30. Is this the one? (I see other options there that sound logical too).

Should I render “RGB” or “10-bi tmaterial in High Precision YUV?

And an extra question (sorry, I´m avoiding to open a new post):

How do I back up the P2 Card Content in a G4?.

I located the information in Panasonic but their solution “Driver Software for Macintosh P2 STORE/PCMCIA card slot/IEEE1394b´ doesn´t seem to work in Powerook G4, that is where we can Log and Transfer due to the reader (we don´t have any other).

I understood (and tried) copying/pasting the Content and txt files into a Hard Drive but it doesn´t work.

Is there a free software for this?

Am I missing something in the one offered by Panasonic? (I mean, do they have a P2 Store Manager that actually runs in PowerBook G4?

Is it necessary to do this backing the actual content as Data from the P2 in a Hard Drive or the QT Wrapped archive produced by Log and Transfer is good enough?

Thanks a lot again and apologies.

It´s the first time I work with the HVX 205a and don´t want to make mistakes.
