Drive speed is not the problem.

    Anything else I can try?

    Thanks Tom
the dropped frames only seem to happen on the first couple of seconds after pressing play. And it seems to catch up after a while. Audio never drops.

    Thanks for your help

    Thanks Tom

yes, I’m on 12.1 Aja drivers.

What version of OSX are you on? I’m trying to hold off upgrading to Yosemite.

    Also, are you using multicam?

same problem on 2014.2. Changing to Minimum doesn’t make a difference.

I’m using 2cam multiclips with LUTs applied to Master clips. I’m sure the 8000$ trash can can handle this, right? I’ll try to move media on faster drives.

Any luck with the scoring markers?
Trying to do the same going from fcp7 to Pro tools.

    Thanks

Sure, but it’s way more impressive to see it move, scale and rotate based on the hands’ positions.

I’m pretty impressed by the result.

    Thanks for you input Dave.

Exactly what I was looking for.
Man I need to learn expressions.

    Thank you so much!

  • Hey
I don’t have a solution, but I have the same problem.

It seems to be a problem with compressor 4 because I never had this issue before upgrading from compressor 3.

Shane, I’ve been using the elgato Turbo.264 HD in compressor for while now, it works great. I can even add TCburn to my clips.

The trick is to select Quicktime Export Components from the File Format, and then choose Elgato Turbo.264 HD as the Encoder Type.

    Hope it helps.

    February 8, 2012 at 1:18 pm in reply to: pix240 + F3 + 788T timecode sync

Paul, I finally was able to sync everything up with Multiclip Offsetter.

I like to have the wav file created by the 788t as a multiclip angle. But I can’t create a multiclip with Aux TC since the wav files doesn’t have an Aux TC track.
I used videotoolshed’s FCP auxTC reader to add the bwf to a quicktime container with an aux TC track. It’s a painful and expensive option but that’s what happens when you work with consumer cameras.

Thanks for your help and if Sound Device comes up with an option to delay the timecode input to the Pix, We’d be happy to test it out.
