Hi Mike.

As long as we are talking about nesting, may I please see if I understand how to nest?

To nest, I would:
1. open a second instance of Vegas, and then
2. select the things I want to nest from my first instance [either select all (CTRL-A) or select some (CTRL-click)], and then
3. copy (CTRL-C), and
4. paste (CTRL-V) onto a new video track in the second instance of Vegas?

How were the Baltic Isles? (I assume you are back now.)

Does the NAPP have a helpful forum, like the Cow Vegas Forum? I find the people on the Vegas forum extremely helpful; but when I went to check the Cow Photoshop Forum, it was dead (which surprised me).

Is the NAPP forum ‘live’? Or where can I go to find a good ‘live’ forum for Photoshop? I think it is time to begin learning Photoshop in earnest.

Probably one of th emore knowledgeable guys will come on and answer you in a little bit. I assume you have the latest version 9.0b? If not, I would download that. I would also report the problem, so Sony can work on it.

Can you please say more?

I was taught to use the markers to select the whole video, and then to check ‘render loop region only.’

If I render the whole video, is that procedure unnecessary? If I understand you correctly, I would not move my markers, and I would make sure that ‘render loop region only’ is not checked?
