August 30, 2013 at 3:44 pm in reply to: Render & Output Module Settings (FRAME RATE)I don’t want to be mean, but I’m going to assume your foreign as that’s the only thing that I can induce from why your replying to an old post with little-to-no details…
I have no idea what Camtasia is other than some sort of recording software, so you’ll need to give us more details like the container and codec you used for export?
Have you tried anything other than Camtasia to play this and see if it works “smoothly”?
This thread is almost 4 years old. My question has nothing to do with yours. You should make your own thread so people can see that it is about something not related to this my title.
Kudos on your English though!

It sounds like it would do fine. If you are referring to hardware MPE, you could try the hack for Nvidia that can easily be found on Google.

There should be no major differences except for their respective codecs. If that is a problem, then you’ll need to choose which one you’re most likely to work with. Or install something like VirtualBox or alike and put the other OS on that way. However, I wouldn’t advise that for items like editing. Maybe Boot Camp with Windows XP though. A dual-boot could also be a good option, but careful.

Which filters are you applying. You must have some intense stuff going on for PP to crash even during rendering.
This may help with give some insight on proxy editing: https://www.homedvd.ca/2010/12/19/offline-hd-proxy-editing-at-work/

Personally, I like paying off everything in one go. I’m the guy who has never once used a credit card or written a check (just debit cards for me). However, I do understand the need to pay certain things off gradually when needed.
I’m not sure if it would be cheaper, but since Amazon sells CS6, you could get an Amazon Store Card and pay that off monthly.

August 15, 2012 at 11:39 am in reply to: of-the-shelf computer recommendation for PremierIt would truly be better to build your own, or have someone else do it for you. It would be much cheaper and could do wonders. Not only that, you could buy parts that are older, but still extremely good.
Her system doesn’t seem to high-end, but if you wanted something off the line that would work try matching at least these specs:
AMD 6-core CPU (at least 3.0GHz)
8GB RAM (DDR3 preferred)
Dual-Channel Memory Slots on the Motherboard (virtually makes RAM double)
SATA III HDD (Although SSD would be much better, but much more expensive)
Nvidia Graphics Card (You can check the site for high-to-mid models, but something with 1GB RAM at the very minimum) – without a Nvidia Graphics card you can’t use MPE on PP, which you can also Google search for a simple hack to allow this with non-qualified cards
You could then later upgrade everything to your liking, or have someone do it for you, when extra funds became available. And because you would use AMD, that should really help in terms of price.

August 15, 2012 at 11:30 am in reply to: How to use Twixtor AE plugins on several AP clips at onceI don’t think you’re going to have a faster way to do this. When I use Twixtor I create a composition for each clip and then apply Twixtor. I honestly can’t think of how it could be done any faster.

Angelo is right on all fronts. More information than I could’ve given you. For #2 you could do 1920×1080 and get away with it as that is extremely close to 2K. As for #3, just be sure it is DVD-compliant. And doing a 2nd pass will ensure better quality. If that still doesn’t get the quality you want, you could first try to output with a different codec (uncompressed is best but will eat up gigs like nothing!). From there, you could convert the file to a MPEG2 (while making sure all settings are DVD-compliant), and possibly keep your quality looking good.
