Yeah I finally just started playing with the size of the file when I realized my resolution was larger than I intended. Can’t believe I didn’t see that before!

Anyway thank you for the quick response, everything seems to be working now. I’m currently rendering an mpeg to see how the graphic looks on a tv before I do any more work on it.

    Thanks again and happy editing!

What I’m assuming you’re seeing is the button that is supposed to be highlighted and masked is showing correctly, but there’s an overlap onto another button? If not then I read your post wrong. If that is what you are seeing then are you able to move the button slightly farther away from the other one? From my experience if one box is overlapping another button it seems to want to highlight whatever falls within that box.

You may have to play with button placement to get it to work. I always just worked around it without any major issues. Maybe there’s another solution, but I know it’s always had to do with that box. Have you sent your dar to Gary?

    Good luck…

I’ve seen this happen and I think I know what the problem is. When you clck on the button to edit it you need to shrink the box around it until it’s closer to the size of you button (not sure what that box is called). If that box is overlapping any other buttons you’ll get a highlight overlap as well.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi
Well I was thinking that the problem segments were usually ones to the end but I know not all of them were. Some were in the middle. I figured I’d check out the discs today and see where exactly the clips were on the dvd and a strange thing happened. My computer now is playing the same three clips twice for each dvd. Very strange, I know they are not the same. I’m thinking I have issues with my computer. Ack!
Well thanks for trying to help anyway! Guess my xmas vids for the family will have to wait until next year! 🙁

Yes playlist is working perfectly for what I want to do.

    Thank you!

Thanks for the other suggestions as well, I will store them in the memory banks as I’m sure someday I’ll be needing them.

Absolutely that’s it I’m sure! I saw the playlist option but I guess it never dawned on me to try that out, LOL
It’s funny how you learn things when you do it on you’re own. Sometimes you learn the harder stuff and totally miss out on the basics.

Thank you for your quick response, and hopefully after this video I can afford to buy your training videos…I have been eyeing them! Small world too, having you answer my post. I was just telling my hubby about them this weekend.
