Generally you need the entire Library or an fcpxml to open an FCPX created project. The CurrentVersion.fcpproject is not enough on its own.

I can’t decipher what aspect of broadcast videos you’re referring to. But I’m sure you can find exactly what you’re looking for via spending some time on Google and YouTube.

I’d guess with the level of metrics Adobe collects on their apps they surmised almost no one was using Speed Grade. And the ongoing dev costs weren’t justified.

I would suggest completing the edit before moving over to After Effects as linked audio will require outputting completed clips in X. If you feel confident in doing the vfx all withing FCPX it will be much simpler.
There’s also Xsend Motion which gets clips and projects into Motion very easily.

AFX would be best in terms of final result, followed by Motion and then FCPX for that sort of look. The reverse order would be true for ease of getting the job done. Going to be a fair amount of work whichever app you decide to do it in. So make sure the greenscreen is being shot properly.
