My suggestion would be to offer $50 on a Max forum and get someone to do the conversion for you as it would be easy for them to load and export as OBJ.

Good luck- Avid is in negative hurry to make their software work more in tandem with Apple’s.

Not directly- you would export your Motion project to QuickTime and then import into Avid and vice versa.

More details please. Text layers can be used in DVDSP as long as they are flattened first in Photoshop.

Only the Okino Polytrans convertor but the costs might not justify the results:

Best would be find someone who has Max and have them export as OBJ to you.

In what way? 25p is recorded to 50i tape so it will be compatible with any standard PAL TV or monitor the same way 24p is recorded into a 29.97 signal for the NTSC version of the camera(actually not the same way as 25p divides into 50i perfectly while 24p requires a 3:2 pulldown to go into 60i/29.97 NTSC). But that doesn’t matter much as far as final image goes- if you intend to show your work in PAL gear you need the PAL version of the camera and vice versa for NTSC.
