motion compatibility with AVID
i am a quantel/avid convert to FCP and a fan of the whole apple workflow. however, the company i’m contracted with has an AVID, and swears by it. yet, i get requests for motion created elements all the time… basically because the AVID won’t do what they want, at least in a timely manner.
my evil plan is to bring the company over to the light and live the life apple. my best chance might be through motion; but how does it work with AVID or does it?

Not directly- you would export your Motion project to QuickTime and then import into Avid and vice versa.

Good luck- Avid is in negative hurry to make their software work more in tandem with Apple’s.
