Probably about the same bitrate- editready works fine. That said FCPX will transcode proxies automatically and also maintain a perfecr link to the original media. And you can edit while it’s transcoding, so a streamlined workflow.

Motion= great titling, integration w X, generators/transitions.
AFX= great live action keying and compositing/very complex effects.That said, you get a copy of Motion for the price of just one month of Creative Cloud so definitely far more economical.

Try Consolidating the Library to a different drive and then copy to the travel.

Also depends a bit on how you have the monitors arranged in systems preferences. ie physical layout and which is set as the menu for system.

Or perhaps as Avid is much less in use as an online tool you wouldn’t gain much with offline online VR workflow.

Well it sounds like you are approximating a Rec709 output via RGB in place of a proper i/o interface. That’s not the ideal way to achieve a properly calibrated color grade.
