Only FCPX World offsite- not much happened on the IBC floor itself related to FCPX.
Definitely rain a few days but plenty of interesting other stuff to be seen during the show. Creative Summit next month is likely to be the FCPX focal point for the year.

As with any other OS release- that depends on the developer. If you depend on specific plugins, I would highly recommend confirming they are planning to update for High Sierra before doing the update. There’s not a whole lot in there you *need* as far as FCPX specific workflow goes. Might be well-advised to wait until 10.13.1…

Grading the entire take within the multicam assumes the image doesn’t change much throughout the take- which can be true or not depending on your specific footage. So choose workflow accordingly.

Yeah also it’s a challenge to find the old OS. I can definitely confirm once you setup a Mac with the High Sierra beta it’s nearly impossible to downgrade but that is due more to the new file system.
