Definitely possible but will be slow. You’ll be doing a lot of proxy editing for better performance.

Hey Ty-
FCPX audio containers have fade handles at the edges. You can also keyframe audio in the inspector or on a clip. That said- ticks I’m assuming you mean audible pops shouldn’t happen if the sampling rates are in order. Perhaps you could describe the situation in more depth?

I’d suggest saving that for the final mix. You can access them either within the Angle editor or within the timeline itself as audio component editing, provided the channel configuration remains mono.

Those are transcodes for better performance. You could delete those but the project will show offline media in better quality edit mode. And I’d make absolutely positive you really have the original media before throwing anything out.

Can you elaborate? Frame blending is a option used as part of retiming vs none or optical flow. All of which are options in the Retiming Editor. If you’re looking for a kind of transition give more details.
