Turn off “Duplicate Frames” in the sequence preset. Make sure you do it for all your sequences. Not just the open ones but allsequences in your project.

    Hi David,
I have done 50 or so onlines here in London with the eyeheight minibox, which is identical to their new legaleyes box. In fact the new box has a nice control panel too. I pay close attention to the FCP scope and the hardware scope, make sure they are identical. Havent had any rejections yet……

Is the field set to upper or lower in the sequence settings? Also load a Dvcpro50 preset and check that. Doulbe check in the bins what codec your digitised clip is..

    Hi Marcos,
I have had similar errors. Mine are all horizontal, and apear after rendering, although i can get rid of them by re-rendering. I have a simlar spec to yours.

I have posted several times on this, but no-onehas replied, let alone given advice!! Useful to know your workaround.

Also have a look at medea. I have been using the RT3 for uncompressed onlines. No problems as yet

by the way, in the bins, you can select all the clips you want to change, control click on the anamorphic heading and change them all at once.

    James,
Termination is definitely necessary with analogue (component and composite), not sure about SDi, but i dont tihnk so. Some monitors do have internal termination, but generally if they do it will be a switch you can turn off/on, usually saying something like 80ohm on/off. etc….. It actually says in the manual for my JVC1750 that if the output cable isnt connected the signal is automatically terminated, but i dont believe it as when you diconnect the lead, the luminance of the input signal jumps noticeably.

On other monitors that have a switch for internal termination, when both input and output leads are connected, AND the termination switch is on, the signal luminance drops! I would try a little BNC terminator to test, they arent particulalry expensive. Try cpc.co.uk.

Ref signals also need to be terminated, as they are essentially a composite signal.
    cheers

    hi james,
seems to be fine on my setup. Do you have everything terminated, or actually terminated when it shouldn’t be?
