mysterious render files artifacts
Hi everyone,
Funny things have been happening to my sequences when I render some color correction / superimposition effects… Some of the render files created have some horizontal and vertical green lines. I thought those were randomly corrupted files so I trashed them but when I rendered again, the same thing happened.
The only thing that apparently fixed the problem was when I changed the video output settings for my sequence, from “Normal to Fastest”. I wonder though, why that’s happening and whether anyone else had this problem…
Here are my specs: Dual 2.5, 4.5 Gig RAM, OS 10.4.2, FCP 5.02.

Hi Marcos,
I have had similar errors. Mine are all horizontal, and apear after rendering, although i can get rid of them by re-rendering. I have a simlar spec to yours.I have posted several times on this, but no-onehas replied, let alone given advice!! Useful to know your workaround.
