probably Auto-select is turned off in the relevant video tracks.
thats the tiny dark grey buttons left of the timeline

Command Zero will toggle AUtoselect on all video tracks.
Command 1-8 on specific V tracks

Option Zero, OPtion 1-8 for audio tracks

Believe it or not i found a ONE track mixer to be the best for my needs.

i used a frontier Alpha track.
mainly i used it for riding music or atmos tracks under dialogue.
it has a dial for selecting which tack you are controlling, so very fast & easy to use.

i dont think they make it anymore 🙁

the other mixer for FCP i had was an 8 track behringer.
it was too big and cumbersome for me,
and the plastic faders made an awful noise clacking up and down in automation mode

im not aware of a four track option.

how are you moving the keyframes?
there can be less to move if you do it in the clip keyframes area in the timeline

i think the question is about text formatting in the browser.
answer is still no, although you have a choice of small, medium and large,
but that is browser-wide.

also could be you are looking in the wrong Library.
it’s your User Library you are after

in the last OS, that was hidden, as Rafael says,
hold Option down in the Finder’s GO Menu, and you will see the Library.

when you find the FInal Cut Pro User Data folder, drag it into your side bar,
this won’t be the last mite you want to find it

“mpeg” is pretty vague

and while you do have the option of exporting as mpeg-4 from FCP (export using quicktime conversion)
i think you’d be far better doing this:

export from FCP a QuickTime move, Same settings, self contained.
drop it into Compressor to make your mpeg.

so how are you exporting?

to minimise problems, the rock-solid approach is to export as a QuickTime move, same settings, self contained.
then run that though compressor.

select all clips in timeline
remove attributes (option apple V): Distortion

i’m pretty sure you wont have to remove “Basic Motion” attributes.
if you do you will also lose any motion effects you may have done on the clips,
and will need to re-build them

i haven’t watched the video,

but black holes between every cut suggests that you edited in a sequence with one frame rate,
than copy / pasted your edit into a sequence with a different frame rate.

or did you change the frame rate on output?
