in the canvas, tun on IMage & Wireframe (one of the drop-down menus top of canvas)
holding SHIFT, grab a corner of the wireframe and manipulate it.it’s basically adjusting Aspect and Scale, but i a more direct way

the important thing is that your sequence pre-set matches the frame rate you are currently working with.
it can very easily NOT match, as you may have inherited the project, or maybe used the “match sequence to clip” function.
anyway , chose a sequence preset that matches your current frame rate, (and remember that the ones labelled as 24fps are actually 23.976, if you need true 24, you have to create your own)
then re-import the audio files.nick

yes, like Shane says you can do a custom install.
note also that when you do that you have the option of installing Motion without the templates and animations,
which means it’s a very small install, and may be worth doing.

i’m pretty sure it’ll work
almost all functions of resolve work in the free version,
as long as your media is HD or SD.import your media in the Media window,
put all clips into a timeline in the Edit window,
set up your batch export in the Delivery windownick

DNxHD in FCP might be ok for joining a few shots together,
but for serious editing? no way.
too clunky.
for a feature, as i say just forget it,you need to re-transcode.
if it’s done right you should be able to re-connect, and not lose any more time.

the Prores Files are the new master.
video loss is insignificant.quite pointless to re-link to the H264 and grade.
maybe could be done in resolve
but what you you export to? a prores file!nick

to make a DVD, one approach is to take your Quicktime export,
copy it, then “Conform” it in Cinema Tools to 23.98
drop the conformed file into Compressor and make the DVD files from that.
they will be NTSC as Compressor will read the frame ratethe film will play slower, of course.
check the conformed QT first to see if it;s acceptable for you.if they do accept BluRay, then just go with that.
there is no such thing as an NTSC BLuRay, PAL and NTSC are Standard Def formats
but BluRay can be any frame rate, just about.unless your primary market is television, i would not shot at 25fps.
