you can get this warning on reconecting with AUDIO that may not be the correct sample rate.
it is generally not a problem.

what happens when you do reconnect?
i would save the project, attempt the reconnect, then revert to saved if there are problems,
or work in a copy of the project.

simple.

copy all in the timeline
make a new bin,
paste (dont drag & drop: FCP may create new master clips which is not what you want)

now just batch export the bin.
in the batch export settings remember to check “use in to out”

the resulting files will have the CLIP TC, not the Sequnce TC,
is that an issue?

OK< idealise you might have more complex sections, not just simple liked clips.

so, do this:
due your sequence in the browser,
put it into a new bin
in the new sequence, go thou marking in/outs around your sets,
option a to select in-to-out
option c to nest

do this 75 times and you have each seg as a nested sequence ready for batch export.

finally, a third method:
export your sequence, export as non-self contained if you are in a hurry (i always put (REF in the export name if i do this)

bring it back into FCP, lay it up in your timeline on top of the edited clips,
go through and put a marker where you want each new seg to start
copy the clip into a new bin,
toggle the triangle to reveal markers,
select all markers Apple U to make subclips.

if you have undesired spaced between the segs, add a marker at the head of the seg, and then extendd it to the end.

good things about the nest method is you get to re-name the nest to the seg name as you go.

it’s been a while since i was using CT for film-based projects.

i tended to stick to the simple rule of keeping the names the same in three places: FCP, The Finder, and the CT database.
that way nothing can go wrong.

this means either NOT changing the names in FCP,
OR simply updating the names in all three places, which i is actually simple enough.

as there were often errors in slating, or in the logging & Capture done in the post house,
i found myself doing this re-name routine pretty much daily.

you probably have “Record Audio Keyframes” turned on.
if you’ve been using the Audio Mixer window, you would have.

open up the audio mixer and turn them off (green button top right)
while yore there, OPTOIN drag the button into the to right of the Viewer window,
then you can turn it on or off from there as well.

nothing wrong with syncing rushes in the timeline.
i prefer it, as i can check & slip sync (if needed) before i link / merge.
and as you mention, you get to delete the camera audio if you don’t want it

it’s rather repetitive work, of course, but i use QuicKeys to run a string of shortcuts for me.
if you don’t have that, or some other macro app, they can take some time to program.
probably not worth it for one short job.

after syncing all the clips, i go though and link audio & video.
rather than drag to a new bin, i tend to copy / paste.
dragging can sometimes start a “Creating New Master Clip” process that can take forever.

if they are only viewing with simple tools, what use is the embedded TC?

sounds like you want to give them a SEQUENCE of clips.
can they use FCP, or some other NLE?

the FCP preset, while labeled 24p, has a frame rate of 23.98.

you need to duplicate the pre-set, change the frame rate to 24, and use that to export.

did you export your entire project as XML?
that can be quite huge

even an XML of you entire 55min timeline could choke.

i would recommend copying your SUBTITLES ONLY into a new sequence, and exporting and editing an XML of that.

or if that is too much, then maybe splitting it down even further into 2 subtle only sequences.
