Arri Alexa proxies in final cut??
hi, i need to do an offline editing with some Arri Alexa footage, the issue is that I need to create proxies to use it in mi home station, how should i create this proxies?? which program should i use?? is there any log and transfer for alexa footage?? please help

Import the full res footage. Then use the MEDIA MANAGER and the RECOMPRESS option.

FCP. Anything else and you are looking at a lot of work, and a lot of issues reconnecting the media.

ALEXA raw? Or is it being shot ProRes? If ProRes, then L&T isn’t needed, it’s already in the format needed. If Raw…then the camera should be making the proxies itself.

i do some test with some clips, the properties are Apple pro ress 444 24fps, and i did the proxies with this setting Apple pro Ress (proxy) 24p 48khz, and when i finished, a message appear that says that my files arent in the same framerate, which setting should i use instead?? thanks guys

the FCP preset, while labeled 24p, has a frame rate of 23.98.
you need to duplicate the pre-set, change the frame rate to 24, and use that to export.
