‘from fcp’ not “on fcp” ie as the starting point
take final cut out of the equation and you have no sequence for them to choose shots from to start with.
no footage to add to photoshop or whatever you would have suggested!
im not annoyed that everyone understood and one didnt, i was annoyed about the rude and snide, sarcastic replies, in fact everyone of your replies has included sarcastic comments.
sorry to all and anyone to whom my original question caused upset… i think just you Rafa…and .. that it was unclear ,
i was asking how do i get from a chosen frame in my FC timeline to a pdf 300dpi file for print.
    ok mate lets stop there
    lets call it quits
everyone on here is usually so helpfull, and now im starting to rant myself..
i spose a few snide ‘im gonna put you down’ types are to be expected.
you think im a idiot and i think you are at the very least rude – fair play.
ok, quits – end of final reel.

Rafael Amado “although Christina understood well your needs”
yep, she did, her and everyone else i spoke to.
Rafael Amado “you were not able to explain them properly”
oh oops, i just should have known your rudeness was my fault.

Rafael Amado “Great. Would be interesting to know how you got your PDFs just with FC”

see you are right, it must be me thats the idiot…forcing you to write contemptuous replies…
i havent been able to make you understand the question…
i was asking how to create pdf 300dpi still frames, from client selected frames in a 3min film from my FC timeline. (which i have just cut). their ultimate use would be on a promo cd cover being created by a graphics company, they had asked for 300dpi pdf files to be created from my cut.
Fc was the staring point. I didnt think it could be done within FCP that was why i was asking if anyone knew how to do it.
CCow always seems to have great answers from fellow industry pros, and no matter how long in this business i find there are always things to learn, and tips and tricks we can all share. theres no need to post rude or cryptic answers, i suggest its better not to reply at all. All the best.

not sure if you were trying to be rude Rafa, but ill give u the benefit of the doubt and take it as though
im just way beneath you. as i explained the timeline is fcp – so it is, at least to start with, an fcp issue.
Dont worry tho ive sorted out the problem, with the help of C and others.
