    Options

    1. ROTOSCOPE him out. I know you said you did — but go back and pump the iTunes and re-do it. (this sounds like the right way to go)
    2. Mess with your levels. Throw on a threshold, add some blur, and try to use it as a luma/inverted luma matte as you see fit. You may need multiple layers. (somewhat quick easy dirty fix)

I was in the same shoes your in with the Mac/PC bit. I picked up a MacBook Slow and I’ve been running AFX on the OSX side of it, which is GARBAGE.
I bought windows and a copy of AFX standard for Windows and it COOKS on that dumb little laptop — especially with Nucleo.

    Can you wait?

I’d de-interlace in AE. Also, out of Premiere I’d just use DV/HDV codec, don’t use uncompressed, because it doesn’t make a difference. You can make DV footage UNCOMPRESSED, but the quality will be the same as DV — it cannot ‘increase.’

Capture shot — Edit accordingly — output timeline to ae. Thats why I envy you PC guys. Stupid macs don’t have premiere.

I’m interested in that script. Will it work if we have to actually FORCE QUIT out?

write a wiggle function onto it before you echospace it?
then the wiggle will be different on each instance —

wiggle is a bit more fluid —
