    Thanks for the response, Michael.
    I’m always in 1080p25 projects.
The Sequence and all the media are the same (1080p25)

And consider looking at the Audio tab of your export settings and setting it to Direct Out.

I wonder why the Developers don’t take this date formatting from the OS settings? Surely, that would be sensible, wouldn’t it?
Also, a creates a strange issue where Media Composer has one date format and Interplay has a different one…

    I thought I’d tried all the combinations… but I think it’s Command+Shift while moving.
    Would still like confirmation.
    Thanks,

In the SOUND part of SYSTEM PREFERENCES, under the SOUND EFFECTS Tab, check that the option”Play sound effects through:” is set to ‘SELECTED SOUND OUTPUT DEVICE’

    Does that help?

    September 25, 2012 at 6:42 am in reply to: sub-clip a multi-camera clip/sequence

Just to be clear; the SOURCE timecode doesn’t change, just the Sequence timecode of the new sequence…

And depending on what you’re trying to achieve, you could Duplicate your sequence then delete everything out of it that you don’t want, so that your Subclip stays in the same place (Kind of a manual Subclip, if you will.)

    Cheers,
    Neil.

Something else you would have liked to have known about some months ago is this:

It’s free & worth every penny!

Mark In & Out, Command+U (first item in the Modify menu)
This will Subclip all tracks. The subclipped sequence won’t have the same timecode as your original sequence.

My understanding is that you can’t see which user last used the project, however, if you are on a networked environment, he may be able to look at the various suites/users for their Autosave folders, to see who has had the project in use, and when.
