I think that pops up after restoring a project from the autosave vault and then hitting save.

Agreed, I get it every time I restore a file from the vault and re-save it.

    David & John,
    Thanks for the answer.
I’ve never “restored” any project, but open directly the autosave files.
    thanks for the help.

That message can arise in a network environment with multiple edit suites, where projects are stored on a network location, and two suites have the same project open.

    yeap.
my friend thinks that somebody has been manipulating his project and may be with bad intentions.
do you know if there is anyway to see (in the System logs or in the network) which computer has accessed the Project?

I’m not sure if there’s a way to do that, but if he’s concerned about that, he could change the permissions on his file (⌘i) so he’s the only one with read & write, and everyone else has read-only.

My understanding is that you can’t see which user last used the project, however, if you are on a networked environment, he may be able to look at the various suites/users for their Autosave folders, to see who has had the project in use, and when.
