Resolve 10 noise reduction is amazing, does it’s job and retains detail, all with just 1 pinch of a slider.

People will use the same plugins with resolve that they use with all the other NLE….that is if it’s supported. I plan on using sapphire, film convert, magic bullet (I’m guessing will work eventually) and so on..

Just because it can shoot RAW, that doesn’t mean that’s all I would shoot in.

PROBLEM SOLVED

There is a button in the pan/crop window that has a Cursor with a Lock next to it called “Sync Cursor”

I know creativecow says not to respond to your own post I think.

But I think I figured out the problem, yet my Vegas 11 crashes during the attempt.

I went and looked at right clicked menu on pan/crop timeline in vegas 10 and found that “Time & Frames” was selected.
In Vegas 11 I can see that on of the “SMPTE” options are selected right before it crashes.

Does anybody know another wat to set the “Time & Frames” option without having to right click to pan/crop timeline?

Yeah, that’s why I don’t understand this issue, it works fine in Vegas 10. I have tried everything. I think the issue is in the pan/crop windows timeline. When I try to right click the timeline in that box to to bring up the drop down menu, vegas crashes every time, and I’m thinking that is where I need to get to in order to apply the real time view setting so I can see the text animate with the video.

Yes, I’ve tried as administrator.

The install location is Program Files/Sony

I’ve looked in the “computer management” window
and it shows 4 icons of drives

the order of partitions look like this

OEM PARTITION 100 MB
RECOVERY PARTITION 17 GB
EFI SYSTEM PARTITION 100 MB
BOOT,PAGE FILE, CRASH DUMB, PRIMARY PARTITION 2776 GB
