I did a southpark style animation for uni. The big thing I found was to pay attention to detail when parenting and setting pivot points. Other than that it was pretty straight forward.

You guys are right, it is there in the help files. Now I just got to find it in my presets. Many thanks. And thanks for the Swift idea. I wrote swift off qute sometime ago, but it seems they have improved it.

You could animate the position of the the line. Then animate a mask to match it, revealing your image below. That is my .02 but someone may have a better solution.

Thanks for the hint, but I only have 2 multi line options and both of those just slde the text in. I am trying to achieve something similar to the example where each word will transition in.

    Thanks

What I do is export as .flv, or squeeze the videos with sorenson. Then import into flash. Embed it in its own movie clip then go from there. This is one thing I am good at. So if you need more help feel free to ask in this thread. I figured it is high time for me to stop buying movie clip and make my own so I invested in AE.

Thanks for the info (at least I know I am barking up the right tree). I am trying to use fractal noise as an adjustment layer and that is not working. I am not sure how to go about using fractal noise or caustics as a mask to reveal or remove in this case the image. Thinkyou could provide a little insight?
