  • How to achieve this text animation

I was told by the author of the site they used after effects to achieve the effect of the text zooming onto the page seen on the home page of this site https://www.stone-x.net/ (click “skip” intro to see the main page faster). Once there you will see the text fly onto the page. Was a plugin used to achieve this?

Thanks for the hint, but I only have 2 multi line options and both of those just slde the text in. I am trying to achieve something similar to the example where each word will transition in.

    Thanks

there is a program, called SwishMax that is used for text effects with flash. It has hundreds of text presets that you can apply to specific copy and export to swf, avi or html with a flash embedded animation.
I use it alot for after fx, and export the animations to avi. Check it out. this will do what you are looking for.

Yeah I remember seeing that exact effect under text presets on 6.5 as well. I found it while looking at the help section that shows an animated example of each text effect. Unfortunately I am at home right now and only have 6.0 here or I would look it up for you.

You guys are right, it is there in the help files. Now I just got to find it in my presets. Many thanks. And thanks for the Swift idea. I wrote swift off qute sometime ago, but it seems they have improved it.
