Actually I just checked the settings and the default was animation, which is where I left it. The end QT file was 2.32gb, which sorensen squeezed down to 16mb (WOW). But I am going to play with the squeeze settings a little bit more. Thanks for the tips on checking the compression.

Yes at the moment it is Uncompressed Animation (Quicktime). I am going to compress it with FLV shortly. Will post my results. Should I have used a compression method prior to exporting .flv? BTW the Quicktime is alot smaller thatn the .avi.

Actually I have a question on shine as well. I have a psd that is pre-comped then has a 3d camera applied so it is angled. Now the factal bgrd has a sort of light burst effect happening. Whit I would like to attempt is have a sort of volumetric light effect happening like light rays coming from behind the precomped psd, like it is interrupting the light. But when I apply (trapcode) shine it applies to entire object (inside the psd), and not around the edges. Also how can I get the rays to respect the camera angle? Any help on any of the topics is greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys. I actually thought of that too. About the limit being my RAM, but I was like, “nah it shold only make it run slower…”…I guess I was wrong. Wonder why it doesnt explain this in the help files.

    Again thanks.

[RobotHero] “You start with layer 1 up. Then you flip to layer 2. Then, while layer 2 is visible, let the back of the card change from 1 to 3 while nobody can see it happen. Then when you flip back, you’ll go to layer 3. And so on.”

Man I feel like such a retard because I am really not getting this part of it. Also mix in that I am still learning. Could anyone be so so so kind as to make a quick .aep I can check out? I know it is alot to ask, but I just cannot get my head wrapped around what is being explained. But I am still cracking at it on my side. Maybe a light bulb will go on soon. And again I truly appreciate all the help thus far,

I just cannot seem to grasp your example. So I make a composition out of the first 2 layers (front and back)? That will essentially give me 3 new comps? (layer 1 and 2, 3 and 4, then 5 and 6)? Do you have a link to sample or a tut?

I really appreciate the help thus far, just need a bit of a push to get over this understanding wall.

Okay I tried your example and it does not work for me. Maybe my explanation was wacky. But basically I want to Card Wipe through 6 different images at 30 sec intervals. So card one will display for lets say 15 seconds, then will flip to card 2, from card to to card 3 and from 3 to 4. These cards are setup in one .PSD file that has a corresponding layer representing a card flip. Ineed this entire animation to be precomped so I can add a small animation and 3d camera to it (to angle it) But as it sits now Card Wipe only allows one flip. I am thinking I may have to duplicate layers to get it to work. But I heard that is bad business and should be avoided. Any more ideas?
